# GetBranchIt > Run parallel AI coding agents in cloud workspaces. Fork ideas, compare code, preview apps, and merge reviewed changes into GitHub pull requests. Join the private beta. GetBranchIt is in private beta for macOS. It currently supports Node.js repositories hosted on GitHub. Every pull request requires explicit human confirmation. ## Principles - **The branch is the unit.** Not a chat, not a worktree. Each branch versions the code, the conversation and the agent's setup together, so any point can be resumed exactly. - **Fork, don't overwrite.** Rewinding means forking from an earlier turn. Destructive resets are explicit, confirmed and recoverable for 30 days. - **The cloud is the computer.** Agents work in isolated cloud workspaces, so ten ideas never fight over one laptop's disk, ports or node_modules. - **A merge is a new thing.** Merging creates a third, immutable node that keeps both parents. Undo hides it. Nothing you tried is destroyed. - **GitHub stays canonical.** Agent history stays out of your repository until you promote clean commits through a pull request you confirm. - **Secrets never enter the sandbox.** Credentials live in macOS Keychain and trusted services. Agent code receives short-lived, narrowly scoped access, never your keys. ## Pages - [Home](https://www.getbranchit.app/): An infinite canvas for parallel coding agents in the cloud. - [Manifesto](https://www.getbranchit.app/manifesto/): Why agents belong in the cloud and ideas belong on a canvas. - [Product](https://www.getbranchit.app/product/): Canvas, branches, forks, merges, previews and pull requests. - [For agents](https://www.getbranchit.app/agents/): A machine-readable CLI that any agent with a shell can drive. - [Design](https://www.getbranchit.app/design/): The design direction, tokens and components behind the app. - [Private beta](https://www.getbranchit.app/beta/): Join the waitlist for early access. - [Privacy](https://www.getbranchit.app/privacy/): What the waitlist stores and how to be removed. ## Agent CLI Agents with shell access can drive the canvas through the `getbranchit` CLI. It is self-describing and works offline for discovery: - `getbranchit commands`: the full command catalog with effects and confirmation needs - `getbranchit describe `: usage, effect and next steps - `getbranchit schema `: the JSON Schema for a command's input - `getbranchit agent-guide`: orchestration and recovery instructions - `--dry-run` validates any input without changing a branch ## Optional - [llms.txt](https://www.getbranchit.app/llms.txt): This site, for language models. - [Sitemap](https://www.getbranchit.app/sitemap-index.xml): Every public page. - [X / Twitter](https://x.com/getBranchIt): Product updates
